About Us
Advancing Research. Strengthening Systems. Creating Inclusive Futures.
At the Centre for Neuro-Inclusive Systems and Development (CNISD), we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to belong, participate, and reach their full potential.
Based in Harare, Zimbabwe, CNISD is an organisation dedicated to advancing neurodevelopmental inclusion through research, education, knowledge sharing, policy engagement, and collaborative partnerships.
Our work focuses on strengthening the systems that support neurodivergent individuals and persons with disabilities, ensuring that families, communities, educational institutions, healthcare professionals, and policymakers have access to the knowledge and resources needed to build more inclusive environments.
Our Vision
An Africa where neurodiversity is understood, disability inclusion is embraced, and every individual has equitable opportunities to learn, develop, participate, and thrive.
Our Mission
To advance neurodevelopmental inclusion through research, education, advocacy, policy engagement, and strategic partnerships that strengthen support systems, empower communities, and promote evidence-informed solutions across Africa and beyond.
